Practice Assist is a clinical consultation service designed to improve access for patients by providing additional remote telephone or video capacity for your practice. We provide your registered patients with a full consultation by telephone or video on the same day with a GP, with full read and write access to the patient’s notes

Reducing patient queues

By providing a telephone or video clinic on any day you need it, patients will have access to the appointments they want and need. These are setup in your clinical system as normal and made available online or through your reception team just the same as any of your other appointment types.

Taking pressure off frontline staff

The additional capacity provided through the Practice Assist service provides your team with the flexibility and resources to fulfil your patients’ medical needs, as and when they need it. This helps reduce the pressure on your reception team, as they are able to better meet patient demand.

Putting patients first

Practice Assist is not just triage – our service focuses on the patients’ experience by providing a full consultation, including providing electronic prescriptions and onward referrals if needed. Our GPs also have the facility to turn a booked telephone consultation into a video call or to receive photographs from the patient if they feel it would be beneficial to the consultation. With a high number of calls closed and no follow-up required, we’ll provide your patients with the right care at the right time in a single consultation.

Flexibility and control

Practice Assist enables you to balance clinical resources in your practice in an agile and cost-effective way. Our service provides you with the flexibility to adapt your clinics and only use the additional resources when you need it.
